The growing economic and political importance of Asian countries makes increasing
involvement in this region important from the point of view of Polish companies.
Particularly important challenges in cooperation concern economic issues, strongly
related to energy, climate, environmental and transport cooperation.
The countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus are becoming one of the competitive
sources of raw materials and an alternative transport and communication route
(initiatives around the Middle Corridor). It translates into an increase in the region's
trade and investment attractiveness.
India is the fastest growing large economy offering a huge consumer market
and investment destination from Poland. Economic and trade cooperation covers key
sectors such as high technology, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, smart cities,
health, pharmaceuticals and mining.
